"The Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce is the oldest Chamber in the High Country.  Founded in 1927, Grover C. Robbins was the first President. The Chamber office is housed in Grover Robbins’ actual homeplace at 132 Park Avenue. Robbins started many of our areas great attractions including Tweetsie Railroad. He was running for Govenor of North Carolina while living in this beautiful, historic home. We are honored to house the Chamber here, where it all began."
